MALACCA: Months of hard work, drilling, soldering, welding, discussions, testing and competing against each other paid off for the Multimedia University (MMU) Robocon team when it emerged as national champion in the Asia Broadcasting Unit (ABU) Robocon competition.
The win entitles the team of eight final-year engineering students, Kendrick Saw Tin Hoe, Lee Chee Cheong, Ng Wai Keong, Yap Wai Leong, Wong Siew Kham, Tan Wei Qiang, Ryan Tan Chee Chiang and Ng Yin Yeo, to represent Malaysia in the upcoming international level-competition in Pune, India, on August 31.
