THE 40ha peat fire near the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is now under control after two days of burning but fire fighters are still monitoring the area round the clock.
According to Sepang Kuala Langat fire chief Supt Sharikan Bustaman, they have been at the scene since the burning started at the 24th km of the Elite Highway near the KLIA.
