Traxx FM to help promote Malaysia to all

Tourists can now discover Malaysia with Traxx FM, a local radio station providing a one-stop holiday guide.

With the tagline Travel N Music, the station is set to provide information on places to visit in the country using an interactive and informative format on domestic tourism.

Listeners can tune in to the station's frequency at 90.3.

Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Azalina Othman said the station would help promote Malaysia not only to foreigners but also to Malaysians.

“Last year alone, we had 2.9 million tourists visiting the country, pocketing RM49 bil for the tourism industry,” said Azalina in her speech at the radio station's launch in Kuala Lumpur recently.

She added that deejays will play the role of 'tour guides' on the airwave.

Information Minister Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek was also present at the event.
