RAMPANT glue sniffing among youths and students in Sungai Petani is putting authorities in a bind as there is no provision under the law to curb the hazardous activity.

Kuala Muda National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) officer Shamshuri Yusoff said of late students had been caught playing truant and joining other dropouts and youths to snort glue at abandoned buildings, behind the Sungai Petani bus terminal, along the railway track and behind supermarkets.
