THE Gallery at the Star Hill, KL, is hosting a solo art exhibition of recent paintings bySarawak-born artist Jack Ting. The show consists of 24 paintings of variable sizes done inoil. Growing up among the indigenous children in Sibu and hearing tales of head huntersand jungle myths have inspired Ting’s visual language to this day. This 40-year-old artistunleashed brilliantly coloured canvases crawling with motifs such as feathers andindistinct silhouettes of warriors for this exhibition. For details, call 03-2143 3323.
