Not a subsidiary of Talam

In the report carried on page 3 by StarMetro on Thursday, May 29, under the heading “Puchong image at stake”, we reported that Metro Tegas Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of Talam Corporation. It has been pointed out to us by Talam Corporation that Metro Tegas is not a subsidiary of the company. The error is regretted.

Road closure

From June 2 to 30 the Jelapang - Changkat Jering stretch on the PLUS Highway would be temporarily closed to traffic to allow upgrading works of the concrete barrier system. However, the KM257-KM258 (North Bound) will be open to public during the weekends. Road users are advised to be cautious and follow all PLUS instructions at the worksite. Peace through Yoga

THREE Soroptimist International Clubs from Petaling Jaya, Bangsar and Kuala Lumpur are joining forces tomorrow in the ‘Peace Through Yoga’ fundraising event at KL Performing Arts Centre. The event begins at 8am with professional and qualified Yoga instructors from across the country and Indonesia leading the participants through the yoga sessions.
