JOHOR BARU: Johor International Trade and Industry, Energy, Water and Communications, and Environment Committee chairman Tan Kok Hong said that the 180,000 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the state must adopt Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to compete globally.
“For example, online services such as e-marketing enables cooperation with business ventures in other countries. SMEs can use this to be more efficient in marketing their products,” he said after launching a seminar on manufacturing in Persada Johor on April 24.
