DESPITE the monetary rewards at stake and the competitive nature of the game, it was a friendly gathering as players from the hotel industry and their associates came together for the Melia Kuala Lumpur inaugural bowling meet at the Ampang Superbowl in Berjaya Times Square on Friday last week.
Melia KL general manager Arno Thorny said they offered prize money as an incentive to spur the recreational bowlers to put up better performances.
