THE country’s top badminton doubles pair Koo Kien Kiat and Tan Boon Heong, who are in Alor Star for the Proton Grand Prix finals, got an unexpected ‘windfall’ at the Kedah capital.
They were among six shuttlers picked by Serba Wangi Sdn Bhd to receive cash incentives in conjunction with the official opening of Mergong Recreation Club, a private badminton hall with eight courts in Alor Star built by the company which is a member of the Bernas Group.
