Voters impressed by Lee’s posters

MALACCA: A series of creative posters featuring Kota Laksamana state seat candidate Lee Kiat Lee has caught the attention of voters here.

Lee, a lawyer by profession, said it was a perfect way to introduce himself since he was new to the scene.

“It’s also to let voters understand what kind of person I am,” he said.

Of the 11 designs, four are caricatures introducing Lee as a person willing to work, speak, listen and write.

The other seven are photos of him themed filial, professional, heritage, charity, loving, culture and Bukit Cina preservation.

“One of the photos is a shot of me in a short film entitled Bird House, in which I starred as the lead actor.

“The film is about preserving old buildings in Malacca amid the strong wind of development. I am all for preserving our rich heritage,” he said.

Besides acting, Lee is a crosstalk performer.

“I have been involved in cultural performances since I was 15 years old and thrice emerged champion in the Malacca crosstalk competition,” he said, adding that he also taught crosstalk at the Multimedia University here.

“A second series of buntings will come up soon to let the people know my manifesto,” he said.
