JPJ blitz on traffic offences


BUTTERWORTH: A total of 132 motorists were slapped with summonses for various traffic offences during a recent operation by the state Road Transport Department (JPJ). 

Department director Hassan Yaccob said 20 motorists were fined for driving without licence, 38 for driving with expired li-cence, 12 with expired road tax, one without a road tax, 33 for non-compliance with the registration number ruling while 28 were fined for various technicalities.
