Morning dance 

Malacca Line Dance Association is having a morning dance from 8am to 9.30am at Taman Bandaraya, Bukit Serindit, tomorrow and Sunday. It is open to the public. For details, call Ong at 012-925 5269. 


MELAKA Line Dance Association (Melaka Tengah) will be organising its monthly “fun jam” session at Dataran Pahlawan, Upper Deck from 7pm to 11pm tomorrow. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun. Cost benefit analysis 

Sarawak Development Institute is organising a workshop on cost benefit analysis for making informed decisions on Feb 26-27 at the Sarawak Industrial Promotion and Exhibition Centre at Jalan P. Ramlee in Kuching. It will be facilitated by Chang Yii Tan, deputy chief technical adviser to the Economic Planning Unit-Danish International Development Agency programme on environmental planning and strategy component. Judo classes 

Pahang Judo Association at Jalan Datuk Wong Ah Jang, Kuantan, (1st floor of AAM office) offers judo classes from 8.30pm to 11pm every Sunday and Wednesday and Aikido classes on Monday and Tuesday from 8.30pm to 10.30pm. Fees are RM40 a month. For details, contact Khoo at 016-921 8899.  

Management meet 

The 2nd International Information Management Conference will be held from Feb 25-27 at Hilton Kuching. Hosted by Stratfos Consulting Sdn Bhd, it is themed “Managing Your Documents and Records” and will feature speakers from the Canadian government. Registration fee is RM2,400 per person. Early bird registration by Jan 28 is at a discounted fee of RM2,200. The discounted fee is also available to groups of three or more. Online registration and information can be obtained at 

Talk on Tibet 

Those interested in visiting Tibet can attend a talk by Japan Graduates Association Malaysia vice-president Datuk Siow Kuang Ling at the ground floor of the Johor Baru Tiong Hua Association building in Tebrau on Jan 27 at 2pm. There will also be an exhibition featuring Siow’s trip to Tibet from Jan 27 to Feb 3 at the same venue.
