PEKAN: Eleven state assemblymen were among 182 people who received state awards in conjunction with Sultan Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shahs 77th birthday at Istana Abu Bakar here on Saturday.
Abdul Rahman Muhamad (Padang Tengku), Ahmad Jaafar (Tahan), Choong Ching Yan (Tanah Rata), Chuah Boon Siong (Mentakab), Hamzah Ibrahim (Guai), Md Rusli Ismail (Tioman), Dr Nasharuddin Zainuddin (Tanjung Lumpur), Dr Ng Keong Chye (Ketari), Pang Tsu Ming (Semambu), Shafik Fauzan Shariff (Inderapura) and Abdul Aziz Mat Kiram (Batu Talam) were conferred the Setia Mahkota Pahang (SMP) award.
Tenaga Nasional Berhad chairman Tan Sri Amar Leo Moggie and Larut MP Datuk Raja Ahmad Zainuddin Raja Omar were both conferred the Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP) award, which carries the title Datuk Seri.
Armed Forces Health Services director-general Lef Jen Datuk Pahlawan Dr Sulaiman Abdullah and Indera Mahkota MP Datuk Wan Adnan Wan Mamat received the Sri Indera Mahkota Pahang (SIMP) which carries the title Datuk.

Five others received the Darjah Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (DSAP) while 79 people were conferred the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP). Both awards carry the title Datuk.
Among them were Kuala Lumpur police chief Deputy Comm Zulhasnan Najib Baharuddin and Science, Technology and Innovation Ministers press secretary Ainon Mohamad.
Rubber Purchasing director Muhammad Ibrahim was the sole recipient for the honorary DIMP.
There were nine recipients of the Setia Ahmad Shah Pahang (SAP), 29 recipients of the Setia Mahkota Pahang (SMP), 15 recipients of the Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (AAP) and 40 recipients of the Ahli Mahkota Pahang (AMP), including Kuantan Umno Youth deputy chief Abdul Mutalib Shamsuddin.
