IN the spirit of Hari Raya and Deepavali, the Kepong Welfare Foundation held a Deeparaya celebration at a field in Taman Permai, Kuala Lumpur recently.
More than 1,000 people from all walks of life gathered at the celebration, which was attended by MIC Youth chief and parliamentary secretary for the Youth and Sports Ministry, S.A. Vignes-waran.
