MONEY changers in the Klang Valley are seeing a high demand for the pound sterling recently and most attribute this to students leaving for further studies in England. The new semester begins in September.
“The buyers are parents of students leaving for the first time to England or of those returning to continue their studies after a break,” said PJ Forex Traders director Shahul Hamid.
