Confusing no-litter signs


TO throw or not to throw? No-litter signs erected by the Penang Municipal Council beside rubbish bins have left the public wondering if its illegal for them to throw rubbish into those bins.  

Pointing out the signs to reporters, DAP action team chief Tham Weng Fatt said his party had received numerous complaints regarding the confusing rubbish bin and no-litter sign combo, which warns of a RM500 fine.
