BATU PAHAT: Although the Battle of Muar and the Parit Sulong Massacre happened 65 years ago during the Second World War, many of the survivors are still struggling to forget the tragic incidents which killed Australian and Indian soldiers.
One of the survivors, Private Charles Arthur Edwards, 89, who served with the 2/19 Battalion of the Australian Imperial Force (AIF), said he still had nightmares every night.
