THE Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) is scouting for a strategic location in Kedah to build a permanent base in the northern region.
MMEA director-general Ad-miral Datuk Mohammad Nik said the agency was currently sharing facilities belonging to the Kedah Fisheries Department in Lang-kawi.
