Unit allocates RM11mil for four projects


PENANG: The Penang Bumiputra Implementation Coordination Unit has allocated RM11mil for four projects to encourage the participation of bumiputras in the tourism sector. 

Penang Bumiputra Tourism Committee chairman Muhamad Farid Saad said the projects were for a home stay programme RM2.8mil), a handicraft centre and hawker stalls near the floating mosque in Tanjung Bungah (RM2.5mil), a food court and a recreation park in Teluk Bahang (RM2mil) and upgrading of the Esplanade food court (RM2.4mil).
