PENANG will soon embark on a mass vege-table and fruit planting scheme towards making the state self-sufficient in agricultu-ral production.
State Agriculture Department director Abdul Nasir Hasan said the scheme would be carried out in Ara Kuda, Tasek Gelugor and in Juru, Bukit Mertajam.
