Breast cancer programme
Universiti Malaya's Faculty of Medicine in collaboration with Curtin University and Makna will be doing a free self-management programme targeted at women who had been diagnosed with breast cancer for less than a year. The programme, themed Staying Abreast, Moving Ahead, starts on April 19. Breast cancer patients in stage 1, 2 or 3 who are able to converse in English are encouraged to take part in the programme.
