A NUMBER of parents were dissatisfied when an unknown 13-year-old girl who had only made it to the quarter-finals of the 2006 state schools championships was included in the Penang squad that competed at the National Schools tournament last year.
The state selectors must have known what they were doing at the time because their faith on the player in question – Eng Suk Cheng - has now been justified.
