Kh’ng Phaik Heok, 39, and her friend Lean Lai Lee, 37, had never made a kolam (Indian decorative art) before and both were excited about trying their hand at creating colourful designs on the pavement at the entrance of the Kompleks Bukit Jambul in Penang.
