KUCHING: While the haze that has been enveloping Sarawak for the past few weeks is expected to exit this week, the dry weather spell in the state is expected to worsen and cause a water shortage in certain areas, Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr George Chan said.
He said the dry weather spell experienced since last June particularly in the central and southern regions of Sarawak was expected to prolong until next month.
