THE Federal Territories Ministryand City Hall are coming upwith a Petty Traders andHawkers Policy that aims to steerKuala Lumpur into becoming a worldclasscity by 2020.
Under the policy in which feedbackfrom hawkers' associations, NGOs andother government agencies are soughtbefore being brought to the Cabinet forthe ministers' opinions, a total of15,700 stalls with 9,523,600sq meterswill be set up in the city to meet thegrowing demands.
