The companies doing construction work for billboard projects in the residential area of Section 10, near the Federal Highway, were given permission to do so by the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ).
But MBPJ mayor Datuk Ahmad Termizi Puteh had earlier said the projects were not under the council’s jurisdiction and that residents should take their objections to the Public Works Department (PWD) (The Star, July 8)
