IT WAS a night of grandeur for the Malaysian arts, music and cultural scene at the launch of Kuala Lumpur Festival 2006 in Istana Budaya, which is sure to set an upbeat tempo for the coming month.
Organised by the Culture, Arts and Heritage Ministry, the inaugural KL Fest carries the slogan Where the Arts Come Alive with the objective of making Kuala Lumpur an international cultural centre.
