PENANG: There were a couple of poignant moments at the 27th Penang International Dragon Boat Festival held at the Teluk Bahang Dam here when two teams paid tribute to their rowers whose absence were deeply felt.
The 90-member Pacific West Crew observed a minute's silence before the start of yesterday's finals as a sign of respect to two rowers who passed away this year.
