PENANG: A syndicate, which accepted orders for pirated DVDs from customers all over the world from an apartment in Jalan Kebun Bunga here via the Internet, has been smashed.
More than 250,000 pirated DVDs and CDs, valued at RM2.5mil, were seized when a team from the state Domestic Trade and Consumers Affairs Ministry raided three apartments at 4pm yesterday.
