SELANGOR is currently facing a solid waste management crisis and the clock is ticking.
Households in Selangor, encapsulated under nine districts, generate more than 4,000 tonnes of domestic waste daily. Refuse collected is sent to transfer stations, dumps and landfills that are spread throughout the state.
