SANDAKAN: Rapid development in Sandakan district seems to have “swallowed” one of its precious landmarks, the Batu Sapi atoll.
The atoll, 12km from here, a giant rock resembling a cow with a crocodile at its feet and clearly visible from the coast, had awed visitors for generations.
