THE ultimatum given by Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo to the flood victims of Shah Alam is ridiculous. (MB issues vicitims ultimatum - StarMetro March 27).
Firstly, the victims are not the cause of the flooding. It is the inefficiency and lackadaisical attitude of the officers of the state government and the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) in not maintaining the drains and rivers that has led to the recent flooding.
