THE Federal Territories Ministry will carry out a study on the water quality of rivers in Kuala Lumpur as part of its bid to realise a world-class river management system comparable with cities like London and Seoul.
Minister Datuk Zulhasnan Rafique said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who wanted rivers in the Klang Valley to be clean and healthy for aqua life, had given his ministry the consent to embark on the project which will take about five years to be completed.
