THE narrow lane leading from Cannon Street to Khoo Kongsi in Penang reverberated with the sound of metal hitting against stone.
It was the stone engraver de-monstrating his skill at a traditional trades and food trail which was one of the activities at the national Chi-nese New Year open house’s street festival in George Town’s heritage enclave on Saturday.
