DESPITE their young age, the 24-season drum troupe from SJK (C) Wen Khai in Batu Maung, Penang, showed maturity in their spirited display during the Chinese New Year open house hosted by the Penang Municipal Council (MPPP).
Aged from 10 to 12, the troupe members gave an inspiring performance to welcome the arrival of the Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Abdul Rahman Abbas and his consort Toh Puan Majimor Sharif at the Penang International Sports Arena where the event was held last Friday.
