RM2.7mil spent on charity work


THE Sultanah Bahiyah Foundation spent a total of RM2.7mil on charity programmes last year. The bulk of it went towards tsunami victims. 

Foundation patron Datuk Seri Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah said the foundation raised funds to provide food and clothing for the victims in Kuala Muda and Langkawi and tuition classes, computers and schoolbooks for their children.
