IT WAS only 9.30am but the roads leading to the field for Mawi’s Hari Raya open house were already jammed with cars heading for the function that was to start at 11am.
Mawi fanatics braved the heavy traffic and massive crowd to catch a glimpse of their idol, who did not let his eager fans down as he promptly went on stage at 11am with an astonishing marhaban performance (singing of religious songs).
