Freshwater hairy crab is said to be full of creamy roe during the ninth and tenth month of the Chinese lunar calendar. In view of that, Tai Thong Group of Restaurants is having a hairy crab promotion. A large one is priced at RM59++ each, while a small one is priced at RM49++ each. Usually served steamed, the crabs are also served in other styles at the participating restaurants.
