THE Public Works Department (PWD) has found a long-term solution to prevent packers supporting guardrails along roads from being stolen.
PWD district engineer Yusof Hassan said in an interview yesterday that his team of technicians had early this year developed a special packer made from fibre reinforced plastic material to replace galvanised iron packers.
