Exhibition on religions

Universal Peace and Global Ethics will take place at the Sarawak State Library from Oct 4 to 27. It will show the common traditions of indigenous spiritualities, Hinduism, Chinese religions, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Sikhism and the Baha’i faith. An interfaith forum on “Religion and Social Issues: Sarawak Perspectives” will be held in conjunction with the exhibition on Oct 27. Other activities include video showings on various faiths and a book display. The exhibition is open to members of the public. Malaysian cuisines

M-Suites Hotel will serve a buffet featuring more than 60 Malaysian dishes during Ramadhan from Oct 5 to Nov 2. The buffet, priced at RM35++ per adult and RM20 per child, is from 6.45pm to 10pm at either the Maya Bistro or Mezza. Sahur meals are also available at Maya Bistro from 3.30am to 5.30am. Reunion dinner

A reunion dinner is being organised for former students of Tengku Bariah Secondary School (now named SM Tengku Bariah) in Kuala Terengganu at Primula Beach Resort on Nov 5.
