THE National Unity Integration Programme implemented for students nationwide by the Education Ministry will strengthen their communal ties, respect and tolerance for diverse cultural backgrounds.
Penang Education director Salleh Abdul Karim said the programme was not academic in nature but tailored to foster better rapport among students of different ethnic backgrounds.
