Nik Aziz: State to project role model in Mawi

Mentri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat has lashed out at critics who opposed the state’s decision to invite Akademi Fantasia 3 winner Asmawi Ani, better known as Mawi, to perform in Kelantan on Oct 1. 

He said that such people often wanted to haram (disallow) many facets of social life but were helpless themselves in trying to arrest the growing rate of social ills involving youths.
