MAWI mania swept through Seberang Prai in Penang as thousands of screaming fans gathered at Highway Auto-City (1-Stop Auto & Food) Phase 2 in Juru to watch the Akademi Fantasia 3 (AF3) champion in person last Sunday.
Asmawi Ani, or better known as Mawi, 24, made a 30-minute appearance at the Sepang International Circuit-Radio Television Malaysia (SIC-RTM) MotoGP Road Tour 2005, held in conjunction with the Marlboro Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix 2005.
