THE Regent of Perlis said it was time for a benchmark system to be formulated to ascertain the level of a state’s progress based on national and international standards as many states are racing to achieve developed status before Vision 2020.
Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin said benchmarks based on economic standards and quality of life index must be drawn up to serve as guidelines to measure the progress of development in the state.
