Young and old joined Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon, his deputy Datuk Abdul Rashid Abdullah, state assemblymen, de-partment heads and DAP Wanita chief Chong Eng at the Esplanade in shouting “Merdeka” seven times when the Jalur Gemilang was hoisted.
