ALOR STAR: A mechanic was killed in a road accident barely two hours after joining the crowd at the midnight National Day countdown near Menara Alor Star.
Khor Boon Cheng, 21, died on the spot after his motorcycle was involved in an accident with a van at 1.45am in Jalan Pegawai yesterday.
