THE last phase of the Kuala Kangsar-Gerik highway, a 20.6km-long stretch from Sauk to Lenggong, has been completed and will be opened to traffic next month.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohd Tajol Rosli Ghazali said motorists travelling from Kuala Kangsar to Gerik would have a shorter trip now that they do not have to take the old and winding road.
