PENANG: Initial police in- vestigations show that a 47-year-old man was driving under the influence of alcohol when his car was involved in an accident that killed a policeman.
George Town OCPD Asst Comm Hamzah Md Jamil said police had taken a statement from the suspect, a lorry driver, and obtained a four-day re-mand order to detain him until Tuesday.
