‘Char kuay teow’ is his calling

Char kuay teow seller Lim Cheng Joo is a changed man. The 32-year-old Lim, who has been dishing up the popular noodle dish at Robert's Penang Char Kuay Teow stall in Say Huat Restaurant in Section 17, Petaling Jaya, for 10 years, used to gamble away all his earnings on horses and slot machines. 

But that changed two years ago, when he married Chai Siew Huay, with whom he now has a two-year-old son, Michael.
