Oil palm smallhold- ings and plantations in the Hilir Perak and Batang Padang districts are losing millions of ringgit due to a sudden attack by bagworms since last year.
Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Tajol Rosli Ghazali said losses at 3,617ha of smallholdings were estimated at RM6.2mil while losses at 9,123ha of plantations were RM15.8mil.
